NEW for 2026: Ladies Dual Sport & Adventure Ride!
Got a dual sport or adventure bike that's begging to get dirty? This one's for you! Join us Saturday, August 22 as we leave camp and head out on a guided ride through some of the best backroads the area has to offer. We'll weave our way to Combermere and back, taking in scenic roads, gravel, forest roads, and ATV trails along the way. Expect plenty of smiles, beautiful views, and just enough dirt to make the ride memorable—without getting too spicy.

We'll stop for lunch at The Bent Anchor before pointing our bikes back toward camp for more adventure.

Whether you're looking to build confidence, explore new terrain, or just spend the day riding with an incredible group of women, this ride is all about good vibes, great scenery, and making memories.

Adventure required. Heroics not. We'll keep it fun, flowing, and beginner-friendly for riders with some off-pavement experience.

And there’s more…

NEW for 2026: Skills Workshops

Learn together. Ride together. Grow together.

Our Skills Workshops aren’t traditional lessons — they’re collaborative, rider-focused sessions led by experienced facilitators who create a welcoming space to learn, experience, ask questions, and build confidence. Each two-hour workshop is shaped by the riders in the group, so whether you’re newer to dirt biking or have years of experience, you’ll leave with practical skills you can apply on your next ride. Expect demonstrations, lots of riding time, personalized feedback, and encouragement every step of the way.

Workshop details, cost and sign up to follow, so stay tuned!

Come for the adventure, stay for the friendships, and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us at themotomingle@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We have tried to accommodate all skill levels with the arrowed routes that we’ve curated both on and off the property. The private property has a novice-friendly motocross track and a variety of single track and two-track trails suitable for novice and intermediate riders. Once off the property on the local trail system, we have created a series of loops that range in technical difficulty from novice to expert/advanced, so there will be just the right amount of chill and challenge for all. For those who self-identify as ‘Rockstars’, there is also the option of playing on Greens Mountain, a very technical, rocky playground for those with a strong constitution and a large parts budget.

Our Trail Crew is comprised of both women and men, so there will be a supportive group of men on site to help guide riders, provide technical assistance, and to assist with emergencies, should they arise. Our Trail Crew is made up of patient and experienced folks who are passionate about off-road riding and who will be there to help as needed.

The event will take place come rain or shine.

There is no potable water on this property. We will provide some drinking water, but please bring your own drinking supply for your hydration packs, washing dishes, bathing, etc.

We have hired porta-potties for this event and we will also provide handwashing stations for your use.

There is a sweet swimming spot on a nearby lake approx. 4 km down the road. It’s worth the brief ride!

Your general admission includes all-you-can-eat S’mores on Friday evening and a mouth-watering BBQ dinner on Saturday evening, catered by Country BBQ Catering.

For those who need a caffeine hit to start their day, we will be serving complimentary coffee provided by the Madawaska Coffee Co. It’s delicious and guaranteed to get your engine revving!

The event will go ahead rain or shine. If the weather is so extreme that it poses a safety risk to riders, then we may delay riding until we have made a thorough assessment. We have a large marquee tent so if the weather is a bit drippy, there is a dry space where you can mingle and talk about all things moto.

Everyone will receive a garbage bag in their swag bag, so please take your garbage with you when you go.

There are a variety of wild animals on the site (gophers, raccoons, dear, foxes, etc.), so please make sure to secure your garbage in your vehicle at night or you’ll wake up to a messy surprise!

Camping is included in your general admission. There will be plenty of room for everyone in a large, grassy area of the property, and we will be directing you to the camping area when you arrive. You can pitch a tent or bring your RV. The site can accommodate both small and large vehicles and RVs.

The camping area is very central and close to Sign In, the Moto Mingle tent, bonfire and porta-potties.

There are no hook ups or potable water, but we provide porta-potties with handwashing stations, for your convenience.

Individual wood fires are not permitted (only propane), but we will have a roaring bonfire each evening, so bring your camp chairs and we will mingle around the camp fire.

The property will not be accessible until gates open at 3 PM on Thurs, Aug 20.

Bring everything you need to be comfortable riding and camping for 3 days. Make sure to bring enough gas, water, bug repellant (there may still be some critters flying around), sunscreen, etc.

The nearest gas station (10 mins away in Gooderham) has premium gasoline, but it contains Ethanol. There is a Shell station in Bobcaygeon (approx 40 mins away) that has ethanol-free gas.

The general store in Gooderham (10 mins away) has most items you might need (including ice), and there is a larger grocery store in Bobcaygeon (approx 40 mins away) if you want more variety.

Our Trail Crew can assist you with minor fixes but you are ultimately responsible for making sure your bike is well-maintained and in sound working order. We’ll do our best to help you but make sure to bring your own tools and spare parts, and prep your bike before the event, so you can do more riding and less wrenching!

Dirt bike helmets must be worn AT ALL TIMES when you’re on your bike. This is non-negotiable and we will have zero tolerance if we see you riding without a helmet.

Yes. If you intend to ride the routes beyond the property you need to have an OFTR membership.

If you aren’t already a member, you can purchase an OFTR membership at www.myoftr.ca

The Haliburton Trail Riders are the local club hosting this event, so when asked to select a primary club for your membership you may select the ‘Haliburton Trail Riders’ from the dropdown list, or any other primary club you wish to support.
